National Gymnastics Day 2019 will officially be celebrated on Saturday, September 14th. Today, co-owners and coaches, Qi Han and Yiwen Chen, announced that Everest Gymnastics will join gymnastics clubs across the world on this day to share the love of the sport and support the gymnastics community.

As part of this year’s National Gymnastics Day, gymnasts, families, friends, and enthusiasts from gymnastics clubs globally will participate in a variety of activities, including open houses, handstand contests, carnivals, and fitness activities to build awareness of gymnastics and its benefits. Many clubs will use this as a means to extend opportunities to children who do not normally have the resources or access to participate in the sport, while also given the opportunity to share information about the programs offered at their gym.

Everest Gymnastics will host this year’s event at its brand-new facility in Cornelius, N.C., Everest North. The event will include fun activities, concessions, giveaways and demonstrations from top gymnasts in the state and country. The free event will run from 4:30pm-6pm.

“We are so excited to share our love and passion of gymnastics with our community,” said Han and Chen. “We invite people from across the area who are interested in gymnastics and want to know more about the incredible sport that has changed both of our lives.”
